    Yeah, thanks for emailing. We were able to take a look and figure out how to disable those emails and checked in a change that will do that on future versions.

    I have no idea how they fixed it.

    I think if you enable remote access on your box, then email support@untangle.com with your UID and reference this thread, they'll probably take care of it for you.

    No, since it affects very few people and isn't that critical, not likely there will be a patch. The changes will be in the next release.

    I also have this issue on two different untangle boxes. It is a bit annoying in that both clients receive the following email every night:

    Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

    root@****

    Technical details of permanent failure:
    DNS Error: Domain name not found
