Default Untangle emailing root@gateway - again!

I tried a search here and never saw any real solution. Every day my untangle box send out an email to root@gateway.

The day that this all started, I noticed another email that was sent to root@gateway that read: "Debconf: Configuring postgresql-common -- Obsolete major version 8.3", and ever since that message, I have noticed that it is sending an email titled "Cron <root@untangle> test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || ( cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.daily )"

Sorry, I would have posted at the end of a previous thread, but they appear to all be locked.

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Hi I am new to this forum.

I also keep on getting email error from root(at)untangle.domain.com. I would like to know if there is a way to change that email address? Thank you.

I am also receiving the root@gateway.mydomain.com delivery failure emails.

It seems a bug was created in the most recent untangle.

I don't see a bug for this in bugzilla. Do you have the bug number? I suggest calling support as mrunkel posted.

if someone figures out this problem, please post the solution; I have at least one box doing this, but it's not enough of a problem to set aside day time to call support.

We see this occasionally pop up in the field, but we can't reproduce it in house. The exim config is suppose to send all these emails to /dev/null but it doesn't work in some cases.

Until someone contacts support and gives us a UID, we can't fix it.

Just email support@untangle.com, reference this thread and give us your UID. That's all I'm asking for.
