Has anyone noticed an issue with 8 Gb. single SIMS and Untangle? I have an HP Prolient DL385 G7 with one (1) 8 Gb. SIM, that shows tital memory of 3,089 Gb. (Same systems shows 8 Gb. under Ubuntu). Suggestions or observations?

While I'm at it, just to confirm what we already knew:
    Ubuntu is using 2.6.38-13-generic-pae kernel.
    Untangle has 2.6.26-2-untangle-amd64

I think you've got something set in your BIOS wrong. This is a new machine with a 64bit processor, so you shouldn't need a PAE kernel to see the additional RAM.

PAE is a stop gap for 32bit processors to enable them to see more that 4GB of RAM.

I'm afraid I don't use HP servers, so I can't really help you on what the exact name of that BIOS setting is and if the kernel doesn't see the memory, it's something lower down that is preventing it.

I did not set the BIOS up myself, so that is indeed possible. I'll have to look at the BIOS settings and see if there is something there.
