Unable to generate CSR

Briefly, I need help generating a CSR request. When I go try to create one, I get the following message: Error Generating Certificate Signature Request.

This is for replacing an expiring certificate. This is on build 9.20.

Thank you for the quick response! I applied the patch, but I am getting the same error when I click the "Generate a CSR" button.

How did you apply the patch? that | dash at the end is really important!

I applied it as written in the link, including the pipe to dash. I just RTFMed again and found my mistake in creating the self-signed certificate, prior to generating the CSR. All is well now. Thank you for your assistance!

I finally put an SSL on our box today and the GUI completely borked apache. I could not get into the web interface. So I ended up enabling SSH from the console and fixing it all manually.

How did you fix it? I've hit the same issue today, seems to be killing my captive portal users as well

Tim, you'll be better served starting your own thread and describing what your are experiencing. This another thread with four different issues, none of which is well described, so I wouldn't pile on here.
