    Default Unable to access GUI.

After my install, I have discovered one issue. After the Untangle box has run for a while, I am no longer able to access the GUI, either from the console or the web interface. On the console, I only have command line access, and via web access the request never times out, it just keeps cranking like it's trying to open the page... but the page never opens. Everything seems to be running ok, but if I want to get into the system to make changes or view logs I have to reboot the system.
I found a thread that references using the –kiosk command, but when I try that, the cursor just moves to the next line and does nothing.
I am pretty sure that this isn’t a hardware issue, because I am running Untangled on a Dell Precision T7500 with 2 10k 150GB Raptors running in RAID 1, dual Gigabit Nics, a Xeon 3.3GB running 8 cores, and 24GB of RAM.

The install was flawless, and I am using the full Lite package. My Untangle version is 9.2.1 (X64)

On the console terminal, look at the logs in /var/log/uvm if there are any errors.

Well, it's a little different this time. When I turned on my monitor I noticed that the main screen was still in GUI mode. I can see the different buttons along the bottom of the screen, but the client will not open. I still cannot open the web interface from another machine on the internal network either.

I am painfully green when it comes to the Linux world, so you need to explain a little more about checking the logs, if you wouldn't mind. I tried just logging in as root, and typing the path as listed, but received an error that reads "zsh: permission denied: /var/log/uvm"

When I log in, I am sitting at /home/kiosk # if it matters

ok... well let's hear it for the learning curve.

I figured out how to view the logs in the console, but then rebooted my server so that I could log into the GUI and copy/paste the content of those errors... and, as most of you undoubtedly already know, lost the content of said errors.

As soon as I figure out a decent way to save the contents od the next set of errors, i will post them here.
