Default Untangle with two wan and two lans

    Hello

I have to make this scenario:

Actually the untangle only serve one network and I only have one additional nic available (the server has two in this moment). The question is, can i make this possible with nat1:1?

    Greetings.

Yes this is possible, but you need four interfaces to do it properly.

Also, 1:1 NAT has nothing to do with this.

But i only have 3 nics for this server. Any solutions? I think that with 1:1 nat i can make the think function with an alias for the wan interface.

If you combine both inside LANs into one NIC and use aliases, then yes. You must have two separate WAN NICs for this to work.

As sky-knight says, this has nothing to do with 1:1 NAT. You can do this with or without 1:1 NAT.

The only way to do this properly with three NICs is to use a separate router to aggregate both WANs.

It's technically possible to alias both internal networks and operate them off the single internal NIC. However, this configuration imposes severe limitations on what services can be offered to both LAN networks, and how those services are offered. If you aren't familiar with how to manage networks like this, you'll find yourself pulling your hair out. In short, it's a niche configuration that will lead most network admins to disaster. I don't recommend it.

You need four network interfaces to do this properly or an additional router.
