Default Unable to login after upgrade(s)

I just installed Untangle and when I went to install the applications to my rack I was prompted to upgrade. I did the upgrades and was forced to restart my server. After restarting I am not able to launch the client. I get the following error:

Unable to launch Untangle Server @ localhost.

If I click details I see another error:

    Unable to load resource: http://localhost/webstart/gui.jnlp

I have reloaded 5.3 about 3 times now and even tried an old 5.0 disc I had.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

seems that you have the same problem with me. and I haven't got a solution yet, aka I'm still locked out of my UT 5.3 box.

    see this thread first
    http://forums.untangle.com/networking/2344-i-cant-launch-client.html

and post your error details if it's different. Seems like an interrupted upgrade process or something.

I got no reply from the above thread yet.

Try secure remote log in with https from a different computer.

    Default Postgresql error

Because of some things the Java client said in the failure message I logged into the terminal at the console and ran...
    /etc/init.d/postgresql stop
    /etc/init.d/postgresql start

/var/log/postgresql/postgres.log then showed a bunch of database changes so I went...
    /etc/init.d/untangle-vm restart

Now I can log into the client.
