I have a client that requires IPSEC VPN connections to one of their vendors. We want Untangle as the router. We have an extra Sonicwall 2040.
Has anyone had experience getting Sonicwall configured BEHIND an Untangle Router? Right now everything on the client's LAN subnet has the Untangle box as it's Default gateway. Conceptually, this would be easy for me to-do if I also connected the Sonicwall on the External network (with it's own External IP). Also, connect the Sonicwall's LAN Interface to the LAN with it's own IP. Then, just add a route in the Untangle box that points to the Sonicwall for the VPN networks that the Sonicwall is connecting us to. The thing is, we need traffic shaping from Untangle. To get this, we need the Sonicwall behind the Untangle box. Anyone ever done this? What is the conceptual/logical configuration? Any gotchas? Thanks for your help! |
