Hello guys! I'm using UT server in router mode and i need to use public ip address on my server(MS exchange server which is located in LAN). I already have static ip addresses. But when i use this public address, it doesn't work. What should i do?

Hi enqush and welcome to the forum,
Depending on what you want to do. If it is just Publishing OWA and SMTP i would just Portforward TCP 25 and 443 (SSL 80 if http). If your untangle has another External IP and you want to do a 1 to 1 NAT. Add the other External IP as a Alias on the External interface. Edit the Nat Policy So that the internal interface matches out to the Added External ip. Then Create your Portforward.

Port forwarding...your exchange server (as well as your other servers, esp your DC) should be on a private IP address behind your NAT router (which Untangle now is). You don't want your important servers sitting directly on a public IP address..yeouch! You want your Exchange Server on the same internal IP range as your DC..so that active directory communicates.

Thanks for replying guys! I've followed bit.ly/a7EWGk and it works. Something wrong with NAT policy picture. I wrote public address on the source address field, then it works. There are different ip address when I use whatismyip.com
