Default Mail takes a long time to send

    Hello,

We installed untangle on our network a few days ago. It is replacing our sonicwall.
We installed the firewall add on as well and set the default action to block.
Our email server is on the DMZ. We opened port 25 to only receive mail from our LAN and our school.
We receive mail really fast. When we send mail it takes about 30 seconds to send.
Why does it take so long to send out email?

    Thanks!

    I don't think so.
I'll add our domain to the approved list and see what happens.
When I send mail from the school which is on a different T1 and has a different address it goes out fast.

    Thanks for the Idea!

    That didn't work.
It still takes 30 seconds for the mail to send out for any workstation on the network.

Under the Spam Blocker, what do you have configured in the SMTP tab?
Just curious is this an install on your own box? Or an Untangle unit?
