Question Specify No-NAT addresses for NATted public server

    Hello all,

I'm setting up an Untangle on a network where I'm being provided with a public IP for the Untangle's external address, but I need to be able to access a private network from the external interface but without NATting that specific network, it must be routed so everything looks normal side to side, and all else works with NAT, for internet. I attached the diagram for better explanation and this is what I have:

    -Network 192.168.53.0/24 inside Untangle
    -Network 216.x.x.30/28 outside Untangle
-Network 192.168.43.0/24 being routed through 7206-B
    -Networks 43 and 53 should reach No-NAT
-Network 53 should be NATted to internet as 216.x.x.30

    Thanks in advance.

I can think of no way to do it with Untangle. The NAT policy matcher works on source address, not destination.

The cisco B router can't do NAT for you? That would make more sense.

    Big Frickin Disclaimer:
While I'm pretty sure, I can't guarantee that I know what I'm doing. There might be a better way to do this, and this way might actually suck. Make sure you understand the implications of what you're doing before trying to follow these directions.

It often helps troubleshooting if you have a good network map. Look here if you want my advice on how to draw one.

I was thinking about it, I just wanted to see if it was possible to do it via firewall or bypass rules... I will try this way.

If anyone else has an idea of doing it the way I need it, I'll be grateful.

    Thanks.
