Default External WAN Static Ip setup ?

Is this setup or look correct for external WAN ip settings ?

I've tried it but it won't work. Ive been trouble shooting my new UT box and having a HELL of a time getting this new box working.

Right now the only way to get my static ip working is to go into Networking>External address ( edit ) then select dhcp, and then over ride with the settings.

    see here,

is this correct or am i missing something ?

    well the settings are different
in the dynamic case you're using /30
in the static case you're using /24
it looks like /30 is probably the correct one.

and the static case you've also added a 255.255.255.252 alias. remove that.
You don't want to add your netmask as an alias.
