Is true that by default UT interfaces talk to each other?

Hi,

I can`t get to work something in that matter...

I add an extra network interface, connected to an untagged vlan switch interface (only 2 vlan, untagged to vlan 2 and excluded from vlan 1).
I put the interface as static with an IP of vlan 2.
The thing is I can ping from the UT to the vlan 2 network, but I`m not able to do it from a machine with UT as gateway.
What I´m doing wrong?
