Remote Restart of Untangle Server

Is there a way to restart the server from a remote site, because when untangle goes down it takes everything down. Including not being able to vnc or remote desktop in, and making it where our xray department cannot send images. But once it is restarted it will then work just fine. So i need some help on this.

You can setup SSH sign in through there and reset it from the command line.

Actually there is a restart button in the GUI.

Config -> System

There is a reboot button.

If the machine is locked and the GUI isn't available then SSH is your next stop. If THAT doesn't work you need to fix the hardware issue that is locking up the box... but if you want that hard reboot IP enabled power outlets are the weapon of choice.

I have read how to enable everything but need to know what needs done after that. Say i am at home and vpn into the network and i am wanting to restart the Untangle server, What do i do?

Log into the remote admin console and click the reboot button...

Or via SSH use "shutdown ?" to get the syntax for a reboot.

My my foggy memory...

shutdown -r -t now

I am using PuTTy for the SSH connection and when i try to connect it says Network error: Connection Refused.
