    If it “goes without saying” then don’t say it. If it doesn’t, in fact, go without saying, then don’t say it does.
    So true! i know so many people who do things like this, stating the obvious, and it drives me nuts, i always have to say "thank you captain obvious!"

    You know this is actually a bad example... besides the fact that of course the road is wet during rain, most roads are designed to move the water off the road quickly to prevent them from flooding.

    I used to live in areas that had these signs, they are there because the road will actually exist in a state of flooded any time there is rain.

    Engineers in those areas never learned about road crown in civil engineering class?

    Road crowns don't work when the road is built on a flood plain, or over a wash.

    Not all roads are considered high traffic enough to warrant a bridge in such cases.

    I still love all those demotivation spoofs... still aren't as good as the originals.

    For that matter, I think this one applies to the Untangle team a bit more than it should. :P
