So i have updated the NSIS script with all the components.

http://fakenews.se/untangle/wm/installer.rar

unrar and winscp to your server. (take a copy of your old installer folder or rename it)
Location of the installer folder is "/usr/share/untangle/openvpn/"

After a client has installed using this it will have a OpenVPN.cab file under Installation folder\WM\Installer\OpenVPN.cab (usually c:\program file\OpenVPN\WM\Installer\)

The Windows Version of OpenVPN is the Stable 2.1.1.

Note that this is just a BETA and problems may occur!
!THIS IS ALSO UNSUPPORTED BY UNTANGLE STAFF!

I got it working in 6.5 (emulator)
But it is a bit buggy.
When you hit Menu and "Start From Config" it gives you a "We're Sorry..." Crash msg.

But if you hit "Client" quick enough it will connect. (and stay connected in the background)

Here is a video on how to connect using windows mobile 6.5 (6.1 as well)
http://www.fakenews.se/untangle/wm/a.swf.html

There are a bug if you are in the "ovpncmgr" and tryies to "Start From Config" you will get a Crash msg.

Instead start "ovpncmgr" and then go out to the main "today" screen and click on the icon there then "Start From Config".

I will look in the source code of the "ovpncmgr.exe" and see if i can see anything funky.

But I have already spent more time on this then I had to spare.

If anybody have any question on this just ask.. :P (Best is to do so now when i have it fresh in my mind)

So Bigdessert do you love me ? ;p

Latest build can be downloaded from http://fakenews.se/untangle/wm/installer.rar (updated 5 min before this post).

Cheers,
WebFooL

Unhappy can not get it going

I can not get my mobile vpn settings going. I have windows mobile 6.1 on a spirint phone. When I click on the start from config. There is nothing to choose from. The config is greyed out. I went into the folder and there is a client file there. At first the cfg and the log fields was pointing to my storage card\..... I tried to change it.
What is going on.

try to install everything on the unit instead of the storage card.

But in the "Settings" tab you can change the path to the config files.

I did that couple times already. I tried to change the locations for both the cfg and the log. But no change at all. I tried to hit the box to browse for the config and the log files no avail. Now it is set as \my device\Program files\openvpn\config\client.ovpn and the log is set to \my device\Program files\openvpn\log\.The config from file is still greyed out too.

The path under settings tab for the config should be "\Program Files\OpenVPN\Config"

Have you watch my video if you remove your current installation.
(Check if you have any file/folders left delete them in that case)

Then Install it on your device (not storage card).
Then start Connection manager and check what path is under the settings for the config folder.
Then hit ok. (so it minimize)
Then click on the minimize icon and see if you have any client under the "Start config"

WebFool,

I made some changes to generate CAB file, just to not change my UT.
It installed almost fine, at end there is a msg telling application was to a previous version, until here no problem.

OpenVPN loads, but it not possible to change anything, I can navigate between tabs but no up/down or select, also "New" does not work.

In your video looks you are using a tapping device. In my case is a SmartPhone with only direction key (LG GWH550 WM6.5 Brazilian Portuguese).

So if there is a way to enter on each tab and set connection I think it will connect as your.

Anyway Great Job.

Hi,

i have a old htc s710.
i will try installing it there and se if i can work out how to connect.

A workaround would be to generate a new shortcut "openvpn.exe --connect client.ovpn"

jzero,
This workt with my S710.

I created a OpenVPN.lnk
Code:
119#"\Program Files\OpenVPN\openvpn.exe" --config "\Program Files\OpenVPN\config\client.ovpn"
You can download it from http://fakenews.se/untangle/wm/link.rar

Place it where ever you want.
Run it and it should connect to the tunnel.
(The GUI will not pick it up so no way to see if it fails)
But you will know if you can reach internal recurses.

Let me know how it works.
