Have anybody tried the link?
I am thinking of creating it during the installation but if it doesn't work i won't add it.

Other feed back would be good as well...

Cheers,

Thumbs up OpenVPN works on my Fuze

OpenVPN worked like a charm once I followed what you did on the video. No errors or problems. Great job!

P.S.
I did not try the link.

Sorry my delay WebFool.
I missed to follow this thread..........

Here, for now, no success, it wonŽt load, perhaps due to WM6.5 Brazilian Portuguese.
By the way looks LG & WM6.5 is not good as it should be, there is some hangs, locks, no ring, and believe, during a test WiFi interface disapeared...........

I think include a file link in your package is not necessary, but how to create it is enough.

Did you test it in your language or in english?

IŽll try again later using your procedure, than back here.

Jzero,
No problem. (for the delay)

I have installed it on 6.5 English and 6.1 Swedish. (and 6.1 Swedish no touch)

With a no touch device i would use the link/shortcut.

hi

I am new here and I want to install an openvpn client on my WM 6.5 device (HTC HD2). But th Server I want to connect to is an standard openvpn server nothing to do with Untangle. However your sample.ovpn and that what I use for normal Windows clients is quiet similar. So I tried it. Do you think there is a problem that a connection can't be established?

Now my problems. I built the CAB file without problems but I can't install it on my HD2. Shortly before the end of the installation the installation is aborted.

So what I did wrong.

Thanks for your help. May be I can be a beta tester for WM 6.5 and standard OpenVPN Server.

regards Andreas

The OpenVPN Port that i Use is
http://ovpnppc.ziggurat29.com/ovpnppc-files.htm
So you can download the .CAB file form there.

See if that installs correctly.
If it dose just copy the .ovpn file to the config folder.

Right now I am not working on this project. (When i have more time i might start working on this again)

ag390734, were you successful in getting OpenVPN to work on your HD2? I'm trying to get it to work on my HTC Imagio without any luck. The cab installs but it never seems to actually execute. When I press the shortcut nothing happens. Nothing is displayed in task manager either. Very odd.

RJonesUSC,
If you have any special "today screen" try activating the default windows version.
And the see if the OpenVPN icon is located at the bottom.

Thanks for the tip. That is indeed the issue. Once I disabled HTC Sense from the home tab I was able to see the "minimized" OpenVPN app. I can now get to the settings and all that but I'm having no luck connecting. When I try to connect the icon changes back and forth with red and yellow. It never connects and turns green.

Should the settings 1, 2 VPN, TAP settings be configured a certain way?
