    Default OpenVPN behind router

I have a site that shares a 20/20 internet connection and I would like to install Untangle to get a site to site vpn connection going. Question is will it work if the Untangle box is behind a cable router not modem? My experience tells me that this is not going to work. So any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

It can work, but you need to port forward all the traffic to the untangle device. You then have to go into config>administration>Public address and select manually specified IP and enter your public IP that your cable router has. This will allow untangle to configure the VPN connections with the correct IP information since it is not the gateway.

    Thanks.

That is better news than I expected but all internet traffic will still have to go through the untangle box. This could be interesting. I hate sharing a connection but I don't think I have a choice right now.

Well I will find out tomorrow if this is going to work or not. :-)
