Disconnects when hitting apply

Hello,

I'm not sure that this is happening for every user but a quick test today proved that when adding a new user and then hitting apply another user that was connected could not longer access network resources.

The root cause that i'm trying to solve is that some folks are saying that OpenVPN provided within Untangle is unstable. While a colleague was using it to RDP into a server and I was adding new user we noticed that his RDP session dropped. Furthermore he was not able to ping any other device on the remote network. A quick reconnect resolved his issue and he was able to ping and connect to remote devices. Again i have not done extensive testing so i do not know if this is localized to his OpenVPN account or not. We have 60+ users VPNing in and i can see where this will cause a huge issue for them.

Is this typical or is my setup broken somehow?

The user's VPN will reconnect within 30 seconds automatically.

Yes, when you add a new user the VPN server must be restarted to read the new config.
