OpenVPN nameservers not working automatic?

Hi,

So I have Windows 7 and use openvpn-gui-1.0.3 and this problems happens no matter where I connect to. I have tried several servers with different configurations. I run the client as administrator

The VPN connects ok but the problem is the nameserver connection. I can't resolve anything upon connect.

The details on my TAP-Win32 interface shows there are nameservers assigned.
I need to open the TAP-Win32 properties it's IPv4 properties and close it again. Then I can suddenly connect to the nameservers, they don't change when I do this.

I have tried re-installing OpenVPN and uninstalled and reinstalled the TAP interface serveral times.

Hi rhal and welcome to the forum,

Just to be sure. You are running OpenVPN in Untangle? (or is this a standalone install?)

If you are running in Untangle check that you export the network that the DNS servers are located on and that you have DNS override active with the correct IP addresses.
