Weekly time restrictions based on MAC Address possible?

I am in the midst of setting up the Open Source Untangle server software for my house and wanted to block the kids from using the internet during certain times. So far, all I see is the ability to set time limits and have them apply to IP adresses. The problem is that they know how to change IP addresses. Is there a way in the free version of Untangle to set time restrictions based on MAC Address?

One thought would be to set firewall rules to only allow the IP addresses you specify to connect to ports 80 and 443. Then they can change IP addresses until the cows come home and they won't connect unless they have an address that you have specified in the firewall pass list.

Yeah, but thats a monthly fee right? Is there any type of home version of the professional package for a concerned parent?

you could set a static dhcp entry in router, to always give the same IP to a given mac.

this would allow you to do a pass or not in web filter
