Default Custom Rack Policies aren't saving

Hey, I'm trying to create a custom rack policy to have untangle stop scanning our internal traffic (10.10.10.0/24). When I create the rack, the system saves it and I accept it but when I check the custom rack rules again the rule is gone. I've tried it with the network 10.10.10.0 or 10.10.10.0/24, no change. Any ideas why the custom rule isn't sticking or if it is sticking why isn't it showing it to me?

    Thanks.

Do you have the "Pro package"? If you don't have the "Pro package", you can't have multiple policies.

No Pro package but I'm trying to create a "no rack" rule so untangle stops scanning internal traffic. Do I need the pro package for that?

No. No Rack is available in the open source version as well.

Ok, back to my first post then, the no rack policies are not saving/showing up in the custom rack policies.

For a no rack you don't create a rack, you just create the custom policy with "no rack" as the assigned rack....
Can you try restarting the vm from the shell, and then creating the policy..... Wonder if that will help.

Alright so an /etc/init.d/untangle-vm restart worked. However only one of the two policies that I put in ended up in there. Do I have to add a custom policy then restart untangle-vm every time? I hope that getins fixed in 5.1 (which I am excited for ;-) )

Yeah I think Silver Bullet filed a bug for it a long time ago......As a note this doesn't seem to always happen. Only at times I think. I'm almost certain i've saved no rack's etc, without a restart of the vm....
