Default rack child rack questions

Hi all,

Before I go through creating a child rack and installing modules - I wanted to check my understanding.

Let's say I have a default rack with all modules installed.

Now, I add a child rack of the default rack and associate certain IP's to use this child rack.

Will all modules installed in default be consulted prior to processing the child rack, and if there is a module in the child rack, will that module take precedence or will it just add to (ie: webfilter - main filter blocks social networking, child rack webfilter does not block social networking - will social networking pass for anyone using the child rack or will it be blocked based upon the parent rack?)

if the faceplace in the child rack is greyed out and you can't click Settings, it's copying the settings from the parent rack. if you add a new instance of an application into the child rack, that app takes precedence - in your example, you'll be able to get to facebook if you add that new instance of Web Filter (and can click Settings), but if you don't you will not be able to get there.

Ok, so any faceplate I don't add will just use the parent settings and any faceplate I do add will just use the child settings if I read what you said correctly.
