UT unable to block yahoo messenger

Ok here's my scenario, I have a pfsense firewall, i configured some static network maps on the pfsense firewall through dhcp, some of those ip's get filtered and some don't. So basically some of those users are able to access yahoo messenger without any issues what so ever and some don't. what could be the problem here, U.T. is configured to block yahoo messenger..

Hi,

Dose all the cliente go thrue Untangle?
Is it posible for the client to route a round the Untangle?

Do you or any client use proxys ?

And how have you blockt Yahoo Msgr? Protocol Control, Firewall rule, Webfilter and Smime.

Assumptively yes, all the4 clients go through untangle, as far as I know we don't have proxies, and untangle blocks proxies.

I blocked yahoo msgr through protocol control sir.

are you talking about the stand alone yahoo messenger? or the mail integrated one?
