I'm running UT 6.20 and trying to use RAP to have bookmarks which point to some samba shares (samba file server, samba pdc). I'm able to browse the files just fine, but I can't upload files. When I click upload, then select a file, it then hangs at "uploading..."
I see this in my samba logs: Code:
[2009/08/20 13:42:47, 0] auth/auth_domain.c:domain_client_validate(260) domain_client_validate: unable to validate password for user GUEST in domain TSCDOMAIN to Domain controller NETSVSC1. Error was NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_USER. [2009/08/20 13:42:47, 1] smbd/service.c:make_connection_snum(1033) 10.35.72.1 (10.35.72.1) connect to service Sdrive initially as user nobody (uid=65534, gid=65534) (pid 15394) [2009/08/20 13:43:26, 1] smbd/service.c:close_cnum(1230) 10.35.72.1 (10.35.72.1) closed connection to service Sdrive Is there no way to specify authentication credentials for a share? I'd really rather not have 'guest' to be a valid user, yet alone with write permissions... edit: forgot code tags Last edited by billomer; 08-20-2009 at 11:18 AM.. |
