Wow. RAP is junk

I fired it up and pretty much nothing on it works.

I came to this forum to find posts a year old with no responses.

Doesn't really encourage me to make any effort with respect to the portal function.

if I remember correcty, I think I read somewhere on here that RAP is a dying product and not being actively developed anymore. I could be wrong though.

RAP is EOL - it won't even be offered for download as of 7.2

customers who already have it will still have it, but new users won't see it available.

Any substitute? There was some hintage about adito(openvpn-als) integration on the forums a while back. A good SSL VPN solution would be so awesome

I'm glad to see RAP is dead... but at the same time it was a paid module and something clients paid for. Is there going to be a replacement? Anything?

Reading my mind. Taking a paid app and then just EOL'ing is plain bad. SSL VPN needed ASAP.

RAP wasn't at all why I was trying UT again.
But it was an interesting idea.
Thus far, it works fine on my local segment.
It just doesn't seem to be terribly network aware.
Pointing it to a share of \\server\share with Everyone having full control yields zip point squat.
If it's this crappy, it should be yanked as an embarrassment.
Not trying to be unnecessarily negative - but get the broken cruft out of my way.
