Network file browser and special characters issue

Hi,
I am using Untangle 6.1.0~svn20090410r22859release6.1-1lenny in router mode with all the modules loaded (Professional package)

In Remote Access Portal, in the Network file browser, I have added a shared folder which is on a Windows 2008 Standard Edition Server. I have the following problems,

1. Unable to browse through the folder which has special characters. The folder's name is, Research & Development
Note: I am not sure whether it is because of special char or long file name.

2. Trying to upload a 612 KB file and it says, Uploading... For a long time. I was frustrated and clicked cancel. After I hit refresh, the file was there.

Any solutions?

Does anyone have any update on this issue?

No one cares about RAP! Maybe we could add a feature request to do away with it completely - what do you think? Personally I think that RAP lets down what is otherwise a pretty fantastic solution.
