I have an Untangle box setup at an offsite location, Site to Site VPN with our Main Untangle.
I've tried many ways to configure the email settings but only the test emails work, never the reports. I have created an email address on our exchange server and checked use authentication. Any caveats about the login name/type? I've also tried direct. On our Exchange 2010 server that is back at the main office, I have a relay connector setup that allows our other servers to relay email. I have added the private and public IP of this box. In the Exchange logs I am getting this as the final error - 554 5.4.4 SMTPSEND.DNS.NonExistentDomain; nonexistent domain What is different in the Test Emails compared to the Reports? |

I had issues configuring a relay connector with authentication that worked correctly in exchange 2007 and 2010. Short of making an open relay it just wouldn't work right. Sky-knight pointed me in the correct direction and I was able to relay as desired after configuring a new receive connector. Check this thread to see if it helps you any.
