There are no reports being generated after an upgrade to 9.1.1. All I have installed are Web Filter Lite and Reports. I did remove and add back the Reports module, but no joy. Taking a look at /var/log/uvm/reporter.log I see something about "CRITICAL: Exception while building report: relation reports.n_mail_addr_totals does not exist".
Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Try installing something that processes email, like Spam Blocker Lite. You don't need to have it on, just install it in the rack and turn it off and see if that helps.

I upgraded my box to 9.1.1 on 12/28/2011 and since then the reports are not working as well. I have not been able to get back over to that site to enable SSH (forgot to enable it when I rebuilt the box right before Christmas). All the reports up-to the 28th show all the data, but from that date on, nothing in the reports at all.
I just tried to click on "spam blocker lite" but the page it displays is for the full version, not the "lite" version, I did the same for "virus blocker lite" and it also takes me to the page that says try the premium apps (attaching a pic of the page it sends me to). I was going to try your suggestion of installing the lite product to see if that changes anything, as this box uses: spyware, proto control, firewall, IP, Ad blocker, Reports, CP, OpenVPN & AB only. If I click on say spyware blocker and go to events there are events in there. spamblockerlite.png |

Oops, try Phish Blocker then.

@dmorris, I just installed Phish Blocker (it was on by default when it installed), went to reports, clicked on "generate reports", and once that completed clicked on "view reports" and bingo todays report was there with data, I then clicked on yesterdays reports and it is blank, which I can deal with if this fixes the issue.
The question is, can I now turn off that module and/or uninstall it from the rack and reports still work? |

As far as I know, removing a module from the rack doesn't actually remove the module from the machine. So if reports have some strange dependency on that module, it's perfectly sane to simply install it and remove it.
Personally I don't deal with servers that don't have a complete set of modules per one of the three packages, lite, standard, or premium. I always install each module the box has available, then remove them from the appropriate rack. I do this mostly for convenience because the module is much quicker to add later when I need it, but it also seems to have prevented me from ever seeing these strange report issues. This isn't the first time reporting has been broken because of a missing module. Didn't we just go through this with OpenVPN?

I'm not sure. You can try it.
