    Default Super Spam Blocker?

I just had to reinstall UT from scratch.

I remember last time I installed (a couple years ago), I installed some sort of upgrade made by a user starting with J that could be installed via SSH on the UT box.

    Does that still exist?

That's the one I meant... will this work with 8.x? I'm not au fait with exactly what has changed between versions.

does anyone know what all that script does, and does it still work on 8.1.1?

looking at the script code itself I see that it upgrades the spam assassin version to 3.2.5, except that appears to be the version already on 8.1.1. it also installs something called "dcc", but I don't know what that is, and something called "botnet" which apparently can't be used in cases where there are smtp clients relaying in from the outside (which isn't recommended but is sometimes unavoidable). Finally it installs Pyzor to be used either alongside Razor, or instead of it, I'm not sure which.

actually upon a little more review of the code, I don't see where it actually does attempt to upgrade spam assassin; that may have been removed previously.

spamassassin 3.3.1 has been released, I wonder if that will be in UT 9?

edit: after a brief bit of searching, it looks to me like the botnet plugin is abandoned/deprecated.
