I have installed Untangle Re-Router on my workstation, and everything seems to be working OK – with one exception. I’m unable to configure my email to notify my users or me of messages in quarantine.
I have about 20 users on an SBS 2003 network with Exchange. Our incoming email is through an AT&T server with the MX information pointed at our local server, so we don’t use a POP3 connector or clients. Our outgoing email connects to another, different server that requires the smtp connector to use a username and password. Local network machines use our server for DHCP and DNS. I’ve tried sending email direct, and using the other servers in the smtp connection name without any result. I’ve spent a fair amount of time searching the posts without luck. I’m hoping that I’ve overlooked something obvious to others, and I’m asking someone to point it out. Thanks.
