Hello,
I've read all the Untangle wiki's about spam and spam handling but I didn't find out how to handle spam which ends up in the end-user mailbox after all.. Is there a way to mark these (spam)messages as spam so they never return? Our configuration is: ADSL Router > Untangle > SBS Server/Exchange 2003 Untangle in Bridge Mode All users receive the daily Quarantine Digest mail in their mailbox. Best regards, Victor |

So untangle is blocking lets say 90% of your spam the remaining 10% that passes and reaches the users mailbox you would like to block?
Untangle does not have a blacklist feature. From my understanding you can make these entries in spamassassin but they get reset everytime the untangle updates the spamassassin module. Add end-user mailbox rules to look for such messages. Increase spamassassin strength (could lead to increased false positives). Install community patchs like JJ scripts and SANESECURITY and JELLINGSON and JUANK scripts that improve upon spam blocker. I am assuming your email delivery is SMTP direct delivery. IMAP and POP does not have a quarantine option they only get marked. |
