Licensensing question?

Hi,

i've got a question about the license, we are using pop3 to download the messages (program on the mailserver): sort of fetchmail.

Now my question= i think this client has 11 users ... What will happen when i by a 10 user license ?? (huge price difference for 1 extra user ).

Most of the time there are less than 10 users working at the same time.

Licensing is based on how many PCs and servers that are behind the Untangle (we are protecting). We do not count IP phones, printers, fax, and etc. Also, if you have few roaming laptops, we generally don't count them, unless they stay connected on the network majority of the time.

To answer your question, our licensing is based on honesty policy, the 11th PC or user will work. Think of it this way instead so you can justify it. You have plenty of room for growth without paying extra for it. 11-50 is the next user bucket.
