Adware Tolerance

Hi,

Shortly after adding Untangle to our network, someone complained that when they went to a major office supply retailer's site, they got the Untangle Spyware Blocker screen. They clicked "Unblock for now" and went to the site to find a product. The url was http://track.searchignite.com+blahblahblah. Is it considered acceptable to allow that kind of tracking in order to use a shopping site? Or is there a way to block the tracking w/o completely blocking the site? Obviously, I'd like the network to be as secure as possible, w/o making legitimate online transactions more difficult.

Without an actual url, there is no way to tell if it was an legit site or one of the many fraud sites out there.

there are many tracking sites on the spyware/adware list.
Its usually safe to passlist these, it just means your browsing behavior is easier to track.
