We've had two infected PDFs since UT was installed. Does it scan PDFs? Both were infected with the Bloodhound trojan. I'm surprised that KAV didn't catch it.

not by default - you can add it in Kaspersky Virus Blocker->Settings->Web->File Extensions.

Well, I have to say NO! It does not scan pdf even if you add it!
I have the same problem (not with the same virus) but still a pdf file that I did report to Kaspersky yesterday, today when I upload it to Virustotal, Kaspersky detects the malware. Still I can download it thru our Untangle filter with Kaspersky enabled, the sign are updated today as well so that cant be the problem. Ideas anyone? |
