Default Malware Research Group Daily Testing- Kaspersky FAILING way too much

Checkout how bad Kaspersky is FAILING in these daily tests. They seem to be off their game the last year or two. Look at about 5 pages to get a good feel. You can go back to older tests by clicking older tests at bottom in very faint gray button. Looks really bad on Kaspersky's part.

Seems Norton and PrevX are killing most.

I think we really need to get a Norton Module for Untangle instead of Kaspersky.

All of the top AV fail, there is no 100% effective blacklist solution...Thus, the reason for layers, layers, and more layers. Thanks UT.
Please no Norton, place it on the desktop if it's your like!

Each big anti virus player have at least one "independent consulting/researcher" that said your product is the best. Blah blah marketing. Trust in your experience.

Norton is nothing like it used to be, i wish people would get over the past years of how it was.

Mathiau , You say Norton is nothing like it use to be?? Are you thinking 1995 as when it was good. Then Norton sucked rocks for years up to 2009 1/2 when it was totally recoded and started kicken butt. I think it is more now "how it is" not how it was. Present tens.

Norton on top here in a three month long term test. It was the one with the least compromises. Norton is on the upswing , not downswing. Your are 3-4 years behind.

I do have layers and layers, I run an IPS/IDS and AV at the gateway , then Untangle in bridge with Kaspersky and Clam.

Norton lost favor with me not because their product sucked, but because their support department failed to support it.

I will continue with eSet because they support NOD32 really well, and they work with me every time I need them to work out malware related issues. They may not have the best scanner, but they have good people. Untangle fits the same category, it isn't about the product, it's about the people behind the product.

Norton may regain my favor, if they can keep up the good performance for at least 2 years, then I will give them another chance with a live test. Until then, they are on probation with me.

SC Mag is a worthless award. Adolf Hitler would get a 5 star rating for kindness! Nothing is every wrong in their reviews. They never saw a product they didn't like, but maybe twice. LOL!!!
