why do you think it would?

untangle runs AV on the perimeter which should have no bearing on client machine AV's. as long as they can continue to get updates, all should be fine.

Hi nathanielfirst,

The only thing Untangle will be able to interfere is updates.
So just try doing a Virus definition update and if that works the no problem.

If Untangle is interfering you can bypass the Update servers and traffic to and form it will not be scanned.

I thought all AV signatures to all AV programs are SSL, there for there should not be an issue because Untangle does not un-encyrpt before scanning ????

Most, if not all, AV signatures are sent usually via HTTP not HTTPS. Your AV program should be able to update with the Untangle as your gateway.
