    Default Source Routing?

I just activated the trial on the Wan Balancer and Wan Failover.

Just want to know is there a way i can do source routing by protocol Vs doing by IP?

Ex: All SIP (UDP 5060-5070) traffic to go using my Main ISP Line and etc?

I have noticed with Skype and other VOIP connections that here and there calls are getting dropped. (May be due to Routing issues)

currently you can only do source routing by ip.

Any Suggestion to handle VOIP Protocols? Such as Port requirements for Vonage devices and etc?

Add a source route for the IP range of your vonage devices to use that WAN.

You're thinking about it backwards. Source routing means your client devices, not the service you're attaching them to.

It just means if you want those services to use a specific wan you're going to have to lock everything from that workstation outbound to that WAN.

If you want to complain about this reality, I suggest you direct your complaints to companies like Skype that create protocols that are specifically designed to be evasive. There is to my knowledge no reliable way to detect Skype traffic. There are signatures that get most of it, but never all of it.

    Hmm.. True

But Think of a case you have a Few LAN user and you have around 3-5 ISP connections.

For All LAN users you want their Email traffic to use 1st ISP, for all VPN traffic (client) to use 2nd ISP and etc.. how to do something like that when source IP is always same and only destination is changing?

If the WAN balancer could use Application Control to identify traffic and choose WANs, it would be rather awesome. But at this time, all it can do is IP based routes.
