Default Block List Question

Hi.

So I have "cpleft.com" in the sites block list, and...

cpleft:80 is blocked BUT
cpleft:2710 IS NOT blocked

Is this a feature or a bug?

Even if I place cpleft:2170 in the block list, it still is unblocked.

Thank You,
Paid Education Standard Client

My guess that it dosent inspect traffic that goes to other ports than 80 and 443.

Hmm... It seems to me that one of the best ways to block torrents is by blocking the popular trackers (and they are not all on ports 80 and 443).

Untangle developers please take note of this feature request.

Thank You.

In 9.2 you will have a new module called "Application Control" With that you can control the bittorrent protocol better.

I don't agree that blocking the trackers will work. Most of the are moving to Magnetic links.
So what you need to do is to control the protocol it self.

But right now if i was you i would block all ports beside 80 and 443. (and the other that you need)
NO legit site will be on another port than 80 or 443.
