    Default User IP Reporting of Blocked Site shows Router

    I have an untangle box configured as follows:

    internet => 2wire => UT => Wireless Router => Users (DHCP)

    UT is in bridge mode.
    The 2wire has wifi turned off.
    All connections are routed through the wireless router - so we can block wifi users and wired users.

    When a site is blocked, the webfilter and webfilter lite report the user IP address to be that of Wireless Router.

    Is there a way to get that report to show the user IP address and still keep UT in bridge mode?

    I suppose one way would be to turn on DHCP in UT and turn it off in the Router.

    Thanks

    Turn off NAT on the wireless router and add a static route to the UT for the wireless subnet.

    Otherwise every IP in the wireless net will appear to be the wireless router's IP. That's the nature of NAT.

    Sure this wi fi router can be set in "Access Point Mode" or bridge mode.
