I have an untangle box configured as follows:
internet => 2wire => UT => Wireless Router => Users (DHCP) UT is in bridge mode. The 2wire has wifi turned off. All connections are routed through the wireless router - so we can block wifi users and wired users. When a site is blocked, the webfilter and webfilter lite report the user IP address to be that of Wireless Router. Is there a way to get that report to show the user IP address and still keep UT in bridge mode? I suppose one way would be to turn on DHCP in UT and turn it off in the Router. Thanks |

Turn off NAT on the wireless router and add a static route to the UT for the wireless subnet.
Otherwise every IP in the wireless net will appear to be the wireless router's IP. That's the nature of NAT.
