    Default 9.1 build2 available!

    http://download.untangle.com/untangl...build2_x32.iso
    http://download.untangle.com/untangl...build2_x64.iso
    Give it a try!

    http://wiki.untangle.com/index.php/9.1_Changelog

    Enjoy!

    note:
This also means the new version will be rolled out soon.
If you do not want 9.1, upgrades, changes, enhancements, etc.
It is recommended that you turn off automatic upgrades at this time.
With upgrades off you continue to receive signature updates and you can choose if/when you upgrade.

    changes:
The only change from build1 to build2 is that we removed the "atop" system utility on upgrade.
Atop is useful for recording historical load, but it has caused instability on some machines.

Not sure if this has been asked yet, but will there be a way to force kaspersky upgrade to new virus blocker?

Say a yearly renewal just happened last week. Can we opt to not keep using kasperky and force a switch to the new commtouch somehow?

That is a good question. Let me inquire about that and get back to you tomorrow.

    Default Download speed of Untangle....

I can only d/load Untangle for some reason at 15k and every other distro comes in at 1.8 mbytes + does anyone have any idea why please?

I have tried over the weekend and succeeded at downloading Ubuntu, Mint, Debian & SimplyMepis and they all come in at 1.8 mbytes direct [not torrent], but Untangle fails constantly.

I have no idea at all why, my dns is set to OpenDns but I have re-set it to google, [8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4] all to no avail.

I wanted to try the 9.1 build2 on another box then I can show it to other people at my local radio club & try and get more bodies interested in it around here.

    Cheers.

    Kevin.

Yes, they just asked that you call support, and I bet they can work something out for you.

We won't be providing an automatic way to do so because we are responsible for paying both parties for the rights.

You could, or you could just wait. Up to you...

We'll probably sit on build2 for a few weeks.

I was wondering the same thing, do I need to update now or not.

Answering the drive price question has been my challenge already this week.
