Currently running the 'old' home version of Untangle with the free and lite apps. Can I update to the new home version without having to reinstall using the latest .iso ? An online upgrade?

The "Home" version is a license, not a software install. So as long as you are on the latest version, you can purchase the "Home" license.

Of course all my clients are business or government agencies, I need to re think the model in a home environment.
In that case the license is yours, not the customer. So you could buy it at MSRP right off Untangle.com and apply it to whatever server you wanted. At least, that's my assumption. I'd talk to sales first.

I've got hardware that goes really well with the new home license, and $200 for 5 years is AMAZING. I just can't resell it. So, instead, I'm trying to figure out how to redirect home users to it during my checkout process.

I clicked to look at this and https inspector doesn't like your cert. Sigh, another bypass.

Wow... That is pretty great for home users! Maybe I'm being dense, but I still don't understand if there are device limits or not on the home version?

I have asked the same question, and have yet to get an answer. It's a critical detail to my evangelizing.

The Complete package subscription for home is not priced based on the number of devices. Most homes will not run into any sort of device cap with normal use. If you are running a business from your home, you need to buy a commercial license. Because the home license is heavily discounted, it may only be used for non-commercial, residential use. If a violation is suspected, the installation will be reviewed and the license may be subject to revocation.

Thanks for the clear response, that's all I needed. It's not a "10 device" license for noncommercial use.

I'm not quite sure how you plan to weed out the differences, but I suppose we'll cross that bridge when the time comes.
