Changelog is definitely promising. I will surely get to IPS testing when the release goes public.
Happily untangling the average household: 20-25 active devices, 13 racks, each with 3 - 8 apps, OpenVPN 1 in, IPSec 1 road-warrior, TunnelVPN 3 out, IPS on. Spice it up with VLANs and mix with tons of rules.

Not in V14.1 but it is on the radar. https://jira.untangle.com/browse/NGFW-6270

Nothing in this release I need personally. But those that want IPS should be happy!

Although, there are very few things I actually want/need out of Untangle. An mDNS server to facilitate use of IoT devices on secluded VLANs would be #1 on my wish list, though.

Fixing the already reported issue with Chrome / Firefox and touchscreen displays would be #2...

Honestly, mDNS seems a little out of scope for a security appliance at the edge... but I understand how we have a growing set of users (especially home users) who want Untangle to run at the core, instead of the edge, to be their only networking device.
