Thanks for the clarification on this. . . Not sure why this upgrade deserves a version bump, sounds more like a point release to me. . .

I share your view, this is v14.3 to me. As it is, we have v15.0 to announce the major new feature, and v15.1 where we get the new OS usually associated with the major release. This sequence of versions has departed from historical logic. Not that it really matters of course.

I apparently share Untangle's internal desire to separate the new module's launch from a new OS, and I'd rather see the new technology implemented on the older more well known platform first. The chain of events is unfolding in the best possible way, even if the numbers are a bit strange.

Numbers are a sales tactic. Not a tech decision. Is there a big show in the near future?

Got on the early release list and installed 15.0.0 last night. Went smooth; however, at the end the GUI just sat there and hung. Cleared browsing data/cookies - bingo - back in.

Just a small tip when folks get updated and it does not appear that you can login - or it seems "broken".

We have seen this in the past (14.1.0, 14.2.x). It seems browsers have more aggressive caching and don't want to breakout of the log messages page even though the Untangle Apache sends multiple redirect responses.

The simple local fix is to aggressively click the refresh button.

Contacted support yesterday to get my box on the early list took 5 minutes for support to answer back and after that in a minute 15.0v was downloading on my box. Upgrade went smooth not much more I can ask for. Only been using Untangle for 2 months switched from Pfsense after seeing a youtube review video by Lawrence Systems. So far Untangle has been well worth the $50 a year for my home network everything is stable with no downtime because if the network is down I here about it fast from the wife and kids.

I'm sure I missed this when reading the posts but will the beta automatically upgrade to the 15.0 version?
