Technically it will but you may have the wrong kernel active after this beta to release upgrade. There is a bug in the kernel of the first and second betas involving QoS and interface tagging. An upgrade from 14.2.x will activate the correct kernel. I would recommend using the release version to re-install if you are using a v15 beta.

I think they gave it the full .0 treatment because of the new Threat Prevention app. I agree, though. I would have saved this for the Debian upgrade.

Anyway, I'm running 15.0 at home now. So far, so good, but since I don't see Threat Prevention there, it makes the .0 upgrade even more of "meh".

You have to add the "Threat Protection" app on the install apps.

I see a few people on the continent on v15.0. You could add yourself to the priority queue if you want it now.

Yeah, Untangle's staged rollouts don't have squat to do with location, they just carve the huge list of server UIDs into batches and go.

HomePro is not for "testing", it's for home use. There is no case you can make that says Untangle did something wrong by not putting the new module in the HomePro license. HomePro also doesn't have "everything" and has never had "everything". So welcome to the forums, you're being irrational?

Go talk to Cisco about "testing" gear with Meraki's name on it... I'll wait. Say the same for Sonicwall... Sophos... or ANYONE ELSE. But... I'll not be holding my breath.
Wow I think you read too much into this, nothing like overreacting and being defensive to someones opinion. No one is calling your baby ugly here. Who wants to share ideas if they have a mini Hilter being defensive.

I've been on this board for darned near a decade and a half, and honestly... I've had it with people whining about, and demanding more for "free". It's not an overreaction, especially since Threat Prevention is a unique feature in the industry. So there is nothing unique about your "suggestion", nor does my reaction based in fact and reason make me "Hitler". Godwin's law however applies, which means you've lost the debate. Have a nice day!

P.S. Untangle isn't "my baby", I'm not an employee of Untangle, nor do I have anything to do with the development of the platform. I'm just a reseller, and a support volunteer on these forums.

Strictly speaking, Godwin's law doesn't apply to mini Hitlers...
