    Enjoy!

When will the upgrade be available for me?
Upgrades are rolled out over time to the existing servers. If you want the upgrade immediately, email your box UID to support and request adding your UID to the Early Upgrade List.

Does the upgrade require a reboot?
The upgrade will reboot automatically at the end since a new kernel is included with this release.

The party's finally over for people running Untangle on old PC hardware. It had to happen eventually. Guess I'll stick with 14.2.2 at home for a while yet.

Looks like 64-bit downloads only, so I'm guessing the release version is 64-bit only?

That happened last time too, there's a 32bit build, Buster still supports 32bit. Just change the 64 to a 32... see: https://downloads.untangle.com/publi...e_1500_x32.iso

With Buster still doing 32bit, we're set for 32bit support for quite a long time... at least until the next Debian release at which point honestly... all those old systems should be well past their service lives. Unless Untangle decides to cut support sooner, but Debian hasn't cut support yet.

32 bit is supported for upgrade but in the far future, 32 bit support will end due the Debian ending support for 32 bit. Thus we only post 64 bit for new installs. Upgrades will support existing 32 bit boxes.

I virtualized all my stuff a long time ago, including my Untangle firewall. As a VM it load balances my 2 1Gigabit internet connections no problem and if it needs more CPU/RAM a few clicks of the mouse takes care of all that. A nice, stable scalable solution!

I built this monster a few years ago and it handles Untangle and many other things just fine:
