i don't have bandwidth control i tried to block it with protocol control and it didn't see it at all. the qos works great thought

the signatures don't match all sessions, thats kinda the whole point of this thread.
If you're "testing" by just running utorrent with bittorrent blocked you won't see any effects while you will see blocked sessions in the protocol control.

what im saying is protocol control isnt blocking any utorrent sessions at all. the signature needs to be updated. its not even seeing utorrent at all anymore.

I know, I was trying to find a nice way of saying you are incorrect by suggesting what you might being doing wrong. It works just fine.

no it doesn't work just fine it is not seeing utorrent at all. its not blocking any sessions at all. im testing using the latest version of utorrent at all. test it plz

I'm now downloading Debian 5.04 DVD1 via the latest version of uTorrent. The module is simply set to log bittorrent traffic.
I see the Scan bar on Protocol Control, maxed out, and sessions scanned is incrementing
I see the Log bar on Protocol Control, maxed out, and sessions logged is incrementing
Double check the way you're reading that screen. The bars are in order from top to bottom, Scan, Log, Block. The session numeric indicators are in order of Scanned, blocked, Logged.
That is a bit of GUI confusion that probably should be addressed.
