Default How to restrict a client's bandwidth so Youtube is choppy

Trying to get my kids kick off the youtube habit and I figured if I severely limit the client's bandwidth, youtube will be slow and choppy and in this case they will gradually lose interest in it. How do I set this up in bandwidth control?

I like to listen. I have learned a great deal from listening carefully. Most people never listen

Depending on your internet speed You might want to set the limit severely to a lower limit in config QOS to make it painful.

Thanks for the reply but how can I apply this to a specific client on the network? My internet is 1000 mbits down so I am not sure if the Limited severely will enough to cripple youtube lol...

The network client is ipads and an android TV box (Nvidia shield)

You can do this by MAC/IP/Hostname.
In this example I am using hostnames

Oh and for limited severely just change the values to a lower percent.
Here it is 10 so you will be limiting to 100mbps, so lower it down to say .2 percent

I tried your method of using host name and youtube is still going full speed. When you use application control, can untangle differentiate between the App version of youtube or brower? I tried the following too w/o luck:

For using IP its source address

Where are you placing the rule after creating it? do not leave it at the bottom, if you are using the home profile in bandwidth control I would drag the rule up where you have the limit dropbox rule.

Also are you looking at session viewer to see what's going on?
and did you lower the limited severely to a lower value?

The quota is for devices to have a data limit of example 1GB, If exceeded client gets a speed limit
