I've progressed a little more, and have decided that the 2U style racks I picked were too large. As a result they were too busy and hard on the eyes. It just looks so much better with 1U style servers. There is one known side effect in this one, due to a limitation of the CSS and base files. To keep this a simple template upload with no modification. I left it as is, the "help" and "logout" buttons got shoved to the top of the screen. Which is no big deal, it does not look horrible. Perhaps in future releases of untangle, more of the template layout stuff can be moved over to CSS and not share similar ID's and Classes. I was having trouble with DIV class "x-panel-btns-ct" to be specific. As it is shared by the settings/help buttons on the rack and the help/logout buttons on the left.

Other new features in v0.4
Obviously, sleeker 1U rack style
Dell power button now has "expired" state (Dell lights up red for error state)
Smaller template size by moving from 2U to 1U (old background_node.png was over 200KB, new is 63KB)
Tweaked rack badges to look recessed into the server like a real badge! :-D Floating above was ugly.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Dell logo in the middle is the power button.

Be sure to let me know of any issues or problems you may have. Along with any suggestions for improvements.

Tested in IE7 and FF3, not sure about others, and I don't really care about IE6.

Fixed the download URL, and made a tweak to the Rack badges

Please try something for me... Load v0.3, let it take effect, then go to Config > Administrator, and for some reason the first time around it give me a "page expired" error. Like it hangs on the "loading config" applet. I'm ok the second time around.

That was noted in my post it is a limitation because of a shared CSS class. It can only be fixed by adding another class to the system files where those buttons are. But then it would get more complicated than uploading a skin. Perhaps we can get that changed in a coming version of untangle?

Either way I figured the mis alignment of those was a small price to pay. If everything was stored in CSS and was 100% unique, I could get even more crazy with the template. But since it's not, well, I do the best I can.

Noticed AMD on the right side. can you have a variance that uses Intel. Also is there any disclaimer that the logos/names are copyright by the respective companies.
