    Default Dell Rack v0.6

    Here is Dell Rack v0.6

    Changes:
Activity bar made 50% transparent, widened virtual LCD & removed two face plate holes.
Added virtual appliance LCD for for the app's, changed text to green.
Removed gradient from left menu (this is temporary)

    Preview:

Also I found yet another reason for not sharing classes:

This same class is shared for many button sets it would seem. Still workable, and since skinning is still new to Untangle it can slide. But for this to get serious I highly recommend smarty if possible.

After playing around with diff Dell racks. I kind of prefer the 2U as the look is not too busy for my eyes. Thanks for nice work on the skins

my sentiments as well. Thanks for the great skins they make a world of difference. I prefer the 2U version. The 1U appear to be to busy for me with to much going on in a small space.

You have been popping these things out pretty quick. You must sleep dreaming of untangle skins.

I may continue to develop that one as well, however I stopped because it was the exact opposite for me. There are so many holes in the 2U faceplate it gave me headaches while staring at it for prolonged periods. The holes in the faceplate are what made it too busy and hard to focus.

EDIT: Also the 2U rack took 1 million miles of scrolling power. It was pretty bad when I had to scroll down on a bunch on my 1920x1200 res LCD's. Don't get me started on how annoying it was on a small screen. (i.e. the console)

I like both of them, however for the exact reason you just noted (the scrolling down down down), I prefer the 1U.

Made some more tweaks, need opinions on which you prefer.

    Current 1U

Possible Next Version 1U (Cleaner, Less Busy)

Technically if you want to run this new 1U you can just overwrite your current "background_node.png" in the following directory: var/www/skins/**skin-name**/images/admin/

I will probably get v0.7 out tomorrow.

    I prefer the cleaner look.

I know dell has those holes on the front for cooling, but it just appears too busy with all the other stuff on there.

Not a bad idea, I will see if I can get that into v0.7 because there is quite a lot of green in there :P
